Someone gets to spend the night in the kitchen. After getting his couch privileges revoked, he decided to pee on the bed. The brand new bed barely a month old. So the kitchen it is.

Notice the head covering. Not a hajib, not even a scarf or wrap. It is a floor throw. If she were devout Muslim the arms would be covered. Her ploy? She stood in line, demanding a senior discount but refused to uncover her face.
She starts yelling about discrimination and making a scene. After like 5 minutes I’d had enough. I told her and I quote, “why don’t you stop with all the screaming. I was walking behind you while we were headed here and by your conversation, you are not Muslim nor are you a senior. If you stop this nonsense I’ll buy your damn sandwich.” to which she only shook her carpet covered head in abrupt silence.
The clerk charged me for her sandwich and gave me mine free along with a very grateful smile. Not to be outdone she sat an ate the sandwich under the throw getting oil and mayonnaise all over it…
I’ve kind of been a dick to 3 people today. sigh The stupid burns and sometimes I just lose my temper with people’s entitlement and ignorance. I think I’ll avoid the Internet for the rest of the day.
It could also be the swelling on my eye has gone way down and the pain is a little worse today so I’m just cranky. Now get off my lawn!
